Actually gained some sympathy and understanding for our Corn Allergy!
As of May 2011, there will be 30 more teachers who have learned/studied and researched Neurological/behavioral Allergies, and hopefully they will help educate others too.

ABC NIGHTLY NEWS ASK DR. BESSER YOUR HEALTH QUESTIONS… I DID MINE, DO YOURS!!!
We are very much not alone. I have been hearing more and more concerns about Emergency Medical Situations. Glucose I.V. is derived from corn, most of my members who have had an ER situation or a surgery have been injected with this I.V. and have become very ill. Bloating, Hives, Fevers for weeks. Every medication that comes into our house is specially compounded using a Compounding Pharmacy to avoid corn and any derivatives.
DR. OZ !!! PLEASE HELP!
We are afraid of an Emergency Medical need, all medications contain corn in one form or another, this is very dangerous for our community. The glucose I.V. is derived from corn, that’s the first thing that is going to be placed in their veins for help. After that the list is expansive, the main problem of this is that when a medical professional is told that there is a corn allergy, they do not think of sugars, acids, preservatives or suspensions, they think of CORN, CORN SYRUP, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. I have stood many hours trying to keep my son from getting harmed while we are trying to take care of an emergency situation. It’s very scary.

Contacted www.aimMD.com to try to gain support for Corn Allergy sufferers.
We are being suffocated, some literally, and others due to our decreasing ability to purchase any products with out having corn in our house, on our bodies or in our noses.
